While this was happening the Alliance Tournament was also taking place so it was more or less quiet. TEST decided to team up with CO2 making TESCO as a coalition. They were able to at least hold some ground against Horde & NC. + whoever else was there up until PL decided their summer siesta was over (a fair amount of PL were dicking around in Amamake after the AT) and after about a week or two at most CO2 had been driven out and TEST announced they were abandoning Vale despite PL/NC/Horde never saying they wanted to take Vale. With their Northern holdings abandoned, TESCO moved south to team up with TRI, FCON, & a few others to attack StainWagon who hold sway over most of Catch. This is where we're at now. StainWagon also were viewed as "the enemy" because they said they would help CFC/Imperium during WWB but other than announcing it I can't recall if they did anything of notable value. Oh and now that TEST + CO2 + FCON are teaming up they decided to change their coalition name from TESCO to Casino Friends Coalition as a "neener neener" at GSF because for some reason certain Goons hate being called the CFC nowadays. The new CFC are also trying to call the southern war The Casino War because _____________________. That's about all you really need to know. TL/DR - EVE autism happened. Marking the second time in three years TEST has abandoned an entirely viable region because someone next door looked at them hard. A vale invasion hadn't even been announced as far as I know, just like in 2013 when we ended up kramering into delve because the retards ran away from a region we weren't even invading.

In Fountain War they were being beaten on pretty hard and 6VDT was the whole "alamo" thing because their whole alliance was basically imploding with the thefts, defections, etc. The remaining/new leaders deciding to remove the alliance from Null to rebuild made sense in that situation. Them abandoning Vale & Catch in the context in which they did though doesn't make much sense.
