That's somehow even funnier. What's next, a "I totally put a cheque in the mail guys, honest!" defense?

TNA will continue, long after we're cold in the ground, with the same headlines as they always are. "TNA loses lawsuit" "TNA pulled money out of their rear end for one more taping" "WWE washout immediately wins belt upon signing with TNA" "Hey, this Matt Hardy clip is pretty good"

one time I didn't show up to small claims court and it was thrown out anyway maybe they were saving money on billable hours and hoping for the best

According to PWInsider, Dixie will not be at this week's tapings and will probably never show up again. She has been told to stay away as a result of the lawsuit at the end of last year, hardly anybody wants to see her again and the locker room will never forget it.

While it is nice to think that Dixie is legitimately heartbroken about this because she really thinks of herself as a mother to the roster, it's more likely she just shrugged at this and then spent a stupendous amount of money on a luxury vacation at some castle or other.

cant believe she's finally gone, does this mean competent human beings are in charge of the paychecks and poo poo? Presuming you wanted to actually spend money to make this product legit again, where do you even begin? Do they even have 6 legit wrestlers on roster? All I can think of who are draws are Galloway and the Hardys. What free agents could you even lock down, Ospreay? Ricochet? After WWE raided the indy guys the last 3 or so years it has to be pretty tough to start anything from scratch.

What's going on with the production company's law suit? I heard something vaguely about TNA and the other plaintiffs trying to shift the blame around and avoid it.

Not to mention that Cornette would probably not even take a call from TNA, regardless of who's in charge.

You'd have to do a ton more work than its likely worth. You're still under tons of lawsuits. The brand itself is 100% toxic. You have 4 people who are competent in the ring. The production values are complete trash, to the point where college media majors and public access workers could have done a better job. There's no real developmental. You're on a TV channel nobody recognizes (and few carriers seem to have anymore). I think all the international deals are now dead. TNA isn't just a sinking ship, the ship was blown clean in half. There is no saving it.

PWInsider saying Jarrett coming back was one of the biggest signs Dixie was actually really donequote:The re-emergence of Jarrett was pointed to this morning as a sign that Carter was completely out in terms of decision-making as the pair had at times, split the loyalty within the company between their two sides and had a number of falling outs over the years, including a time period where Jarrett took time off from the company, during which Carter let go Jarrett's entire support staff at the time, including Dutch Mantel, Savio Vega, Jim Cornette and Brian "Roaddogg" James. quote:"There is no way [Carter] would have allowed Jeff to return," said one source who spoke under condition of anonymity. "This is proof that she is done."
