Do you know how if you say a word over and kver again it kinda loses its meaning in your head and you just glaze over mentally? Well since my desktop is an old old piece of old and nox and memu won't run off my old graphics card, I've taken to grinding tms manually. 120 earth shrine runs later and my two Zidanes are at like 4.6. I don't think I actually see the game anymore and it's all muscle memory at this point. But damnit I will get dual wield for my noctis. Thankfully I've got 7 moogles socked away so in about six months when I get one of them to 30 I'll be home free Alternatively someone could be a pal and kill me and release me from this living nightmare that would be acceptable I think

I've done my TM farming pretty badly but I'm committed to completing my first wave of them no matter what. I didn't ever get a Zidane so I did Cecil, Xiao, Kain, and two Lunas. I got Barrage and Cecil, so now it's three Kains I'm gonna smoosh together and grinding Maxwell. I finally got a Zidane though and feeding him moogles so eventually I'll have dual wield for like Firion or Chiziru or CoD, whatever is best with Lightning.

They really need to overhaul how TM farming works because its some of the most rear end backwards design imaginable. Gains for it should be normalized by the amount of energy spent on the activity.

Gackt actually wasn't a character outside of some secret cutscene until Crisis Core, where he (Genesis) is pretty widely regarded as the worst part of an otherwise actually decent FF7 spin-off.
