I'm just feeling 199, man. Coming out under both the PS4 and the Xbox One seems like a smart move, not to mention they've sold the 3DS well at thay price point.

I'm guessing 250-300. 300 seems about right for it and I wouldn't really feel burned at that price if it had, like, 10-15 good exclusive games that I want to play over the course of its lifespan. Nintendo consoles feel "worth" more to me personally because I can't just play the games on PC. The PS4 on the other hand was kind of a hard sell until it dropped to 250 and it's basically been a Bloodborne machine but I have no regerts

$250 seems likely. Mainly cause a shield is $199 and this is essentially a shield with a screen and bunch of accessories. I think the screen, controllers, and dock probably add about $50 to the price.

Agreed. PS4 has Horizon zero dawn Last of us, god wars. and the like,(plus bloodborne 2 is heavily rumored). Xbone is really making itself pointless by release everything on PC. Still Nintendo has the majority of games (that I care to play) exclusive and that's a great thing. I don't care about 3rd party support. Im not trying to play Mass Effect on my Switch. Im trying to play my marios and zeldas and metroids and donkeys and smash and karts and on and on.

Well, NVIDIA revealed their next Pascal chip featured Shield version and they're pricing it around 200 US dollars. If they can pack up that much of a punch in that price range, then, well, $200 for a Switch doesn't sound that unfeasible.

I also picked up a PS4 at about the same time because of the price and the fact that it came with the Uncharted trilogy, which I have never played any of. I basically get each new PS system for MLB the Show, because there aren't any good baseball games left apart from those. Any other game purchases are incidental. I have had no desire to get any Microsoft system since the original X-Box because every interesting game on it is either on the Sony equivalent or the PC. I'm also the only Englishman on the planet who likes baseball - I apologise for nothing.

Officially the plural of Amiibo is Amiibo, Bill Trinen confirmed this back when Amiibo were first being released in a Q&A on Nintendo's Twitter.
