The characters and character interactions in Demi-chan are all good and cute, and whatever story they try to tell with those characters will also be good and cute.

I'm not super familiar with the Hasegawa Heizo canon, but Onihei was a nice bit of old timey crimey with some flashy sword battles to spice it up a bit. Not really riveting, but suitable for a dry snack

I can totally see why they would want to cash in on that, butt I believe trying to do that ties together two very different things that are completely different in tone and execution, and may even have different audiences. (I'm not taking a few members of this corner of this dead gay internet form as the whole sample) E: lol butt. Good job, voice to text. And I guess I did respond. Oh well. Konosuba tomorrow, right?

Yes. Also Dragon Maid. Not sure what to think about Idol Incidents. I'll probably watch another episode just to see what an idol politician actually does but the first episode wasn't terribly interesting.

So far of the new season, I have watched the first episodes of: Youjo Senki - Though I'm wary of its isekai roots, the first ep was cool enough to earn it a solid chance. It's makes war seem profoundly unpleasant, and Tanya is OP but paired with her attitude it's in a way that's fun to watch. Demi-chan - This is great. It manages to draw out everything I like about the manga, possibly stronger than the manga itself. Cute! Little Witch Academia - I've previously only seen the first OVA, which was cute and fun, and this is too! I love the playful animation. Akko's total inability to read social cues is hard to watch, but I'll persevere, because this evokes a sense of wonder in a way that few animes manage.
