I haven't read this thread in several years, how is Dustin still a thing

Is it still two angry old men making the same complainy joke about how Kids These Days Are So Lazy over and over again ad nauseam or has the bit finally gotten old and they've bothered to develop their main character a little?

Dustin continues to be basically the same person as his father but it's all a bad thing when he does whatever it is.

So are we going to get a story about how Piro broke her trust (so she will be free to get together with Gunther), or will it be a story about how she assumes Piro stole the TV and wrecks whatever friendship they had on a witch hunt (and then she's free to get together with Gunther)?

Complaining about things you don't like is extremely popular and relatable (see also: small talk, social media, Everett True, Something Awful)

You've got incredible timing! This week, for the first time in a long time, they remembered to show Dustin actually being lazy!

BM's so loving bad at writing characters. This lady's defining characteristic* is that she's Chinese; she got these Chinese parents, Chinese airline, speaks in Chinese, etc. In China getting married is a bureaucratic procedure, not some magic words, so she should realize they aren't really married because from her perspective of course they aren't; they didn't contact the local marriage office and they didn't civilly register as married. But hey, why spend a few moments on Google when you can draw feet one-handed, right?

*I suppose you could argue "is a musician" is a characteristic but since everyone is in this strip that doesn't set her apart.
