the man is trying to nurture and build a movement that others will carry on, not just focus on presidential politics or personal ambition. his personal career has pretty much topped out, his seat is secure, and I don't think he's intending to revolving-door over to private industry

While I disagree with the title of shook Nate's article in some respects, it does show that Hillary would have likely won in a totally open primary system. I think it's worth remembering that Hillary's favorable ratings used to be much better, so her weaknesses weren't as transparent then as they are now
