4 man limit on groups would kill things like hunch bunch and garbage day. I would rather deal with tonnage imbalance because if we cannot gimmick drop then half of the fun is lost.

This thing doesn't look great. in fact, it looks pretty much exactly like a slower spider with less jumpjets and better hardpoints. Lame that you have to buy hero/reinforcements to get arm weapons. The hardpoint layouts look kind of fun, except with only 30 tons you can't really do anything with them.

SRM2s are really tight even without Artemis, and the hardpoints look close together too, so it could be very interesting and perhaps replace the Oxide as an "assassin" light. SDR-5K You don't actually have room for a XL245 which requires an external heatsink. With a 255 and 6 x SRM2 you have seven slots and 5.5 tons to play with - either 1 JJ / 500 ammo or 2 JJ / 450 ammo. Your launchers consume 6 shots per second before cooldown bonuses, so I think 450 would be plenty (75 seconds of continuous fire is a pretty average ammo supply for a mech) and the second jump jet definitely useful for the role. There's two variants with four missile slots, one with a higher engine cap and one with ECM, but I expect them to suck because they don't have the room for SRM4s and I know from BJ-1L experience that four streaks are still poo poo. I also am using a standing desk now because my 10 year old office chair broke after rolling around on carpet for the last couple years. Cinder blocks for the bottom of my desk were cheaper than a new chair

It's really too bad, because if it were fat at least it would be relatively small. Instead, because it's so lanky, it's probably going to have a *bigger* frontal profile than the Firestarter/Wolfhound.

In actually interesting `Mech news, Warhansa released their version of the Kodiak (as well as the PGI Marauder, Archer, and Cyclops). As usual, it's got a pretty good name. I've already got one on the way, so as soon as it gets here and I get it painted we'll see if the quality's any good. I'm expecting it'll be solid though, I've only received one `Mech from Warhansa that was poor quality (the Stalker).

Some reworkings like the Cent I can get behind, but that torso is... not the flat, front-heavy hexagon I'm used to. Maybe if they extruded the missiles out in a more horizontal... oh wait,  . Better luck next time with the Mongoose or Hussar, I guess?
