We already know for a fact Murray Chass is turning in a blank ballot so I don't know you might have to go steal his ballot out of the mailbox or something

Chass quit writing for the Times in 2008 so the question is, will he lose his vote due to the ten-year rule or does his blog () count as covering baseball.

Does he count as an active member for other votes the BBWAA does? Has he been selected to vote for MVP/CY/RotY etc since 2008? If not, then I'm guessing he's about to lose his HoF vote too.

I really hope he loses his vote without being aware he's about to and we get to see him write a long diatribe dressing down the BBWAA and HOF for us to pick apart and mock

Angels bought out Kole Calhoun's arb years with a 3/26M contract, with a 14M option for the 4th year (what would be his 1st year of free agency). I like Kole so yay.

I like this quote from an article on his blog:

quote:

W.A.R.! He has created an all-star team of free agents based on a metric that didn’t exist when many of them signed and played.

It just displays such a total lack of awareness.

Edgar being higher than Bonds bodes well for his chances, and I have a reasonable bit of hope he'll get in before his 10-year period is up.

Also, if I was a voter, I wouldn't vote for Mariano 1st ballot if there were in-danger guys on the ballot that I felt were worthy instead.
