Don't worry, Pulis will be signing 2-3 proper full on center backs before the window closes

I hope so - one at least, out combined age for the last game at CB was 70 and the one that's older is actually the one we rely on the most, Olsson is a liability.

Marseille have apparently given up on Payet for the time being. Which probably means they're going to wait until deadline day to make the same offer in hopes that West Ham get desperate to sell

I like how you include add-ons in the sale price but not the purchase price, also the pound was worth a lot more when you bought him

Good that you like it. I didn't include the add-ons in the sale price, I said £16m+. Because Memphis has been utter poo poo and barely played, I assume no add-ons have been paid from Man Utd to the Dutch club. The pound was worth a lot more, thus €27m or whatever it was was only £20m at the time. In any case, getting €20m for a player bought for €27m, after a long period of not playing and being poo poo in the few chances he got, is good business, and shows that Utd under Mourinho don't offload players in the pathetic manner they used to.

I'm shocked that they've accepted it. This transfer has been ongoing since summer with West Brom turning down every bid for a player they don't want and is out of contract in six months anyway. I'm not convinced Berahino will make a difference at Stoke, but I feel that about every player given the current management regime.

Let's just hope they're putting in a proper bid, unlike the lol bids for Snodgrass and Defoe

As soon as nordtveit is better, he's welcome back on police squad.
