The live-action Moyashimon was okay and that had a way weirder premise than Silver Spoon, I'm definitely going to try to track down this movie since I'm out of manga now  It left-off on a pretty lovely scene at least

Just got to the second settlement in Gravity Rush 2. I'm enjoying this thing a whole lot. Flying around throwing things and dropkicking monsters is just a lot of fun, and the art design and music give the thing a great, distinct personality.

The first is Silver Spoon, a manga about a guy from Sapporo going to an agricultural school in Hokkaido. It's by the lady who did full metal alchemist.

Man, the translation for Yotsuba is so much better in these more recent volumes than in the first few. Less wooden, more natural. Yotsuba sounds like a kid, and her father and his friends sound like a bunch of young guys who enjoy one another's company hanging out. Now if only they'd stop writing the vertical text in the chapter titles Ｌ Ｔ Ｉ Ｈ Ｋ Ｉ Ｅ Ｓ when everything else is going right-to-left. Also the way they TL sfx is weird, but that's ignorable.
