This sounds like it's a response to drivers not racing hard for every lap/race, which is in turn a result of the Chase undermining the importance of the first like 30 races. So why not just get rid of the loving Chase?

"Segment Breaks" means mandatory cautions so race strategy is officially no longer a thing outside of 2/4 tires. If it works like it did in ChampCar, that might mean one car leading all day and nobody ever having a chance to gamble or get lucky on a yellow to get out front. NASCAR has gone and done it, folks.

To be fair to us idiots that went down last week, the doxxing stuff wasn't being talked about very honestly here and people who were posting/lurking the KF forums were aware of what was going on, namely that they had already scraped the forums and it was too late to "watch what we posted". That poo poo was hilarious when they went down, too, I was just lurking them because goddamn was that some concentrated autism. Looks like the Taxman is handling things better now so hopefully I won't melt down again but no promises.
