they patrolled in backwards; from the start of the level towards the end. they transversed the finale area and then kind of hung around for a bit before loving off towards the ending. gently caress the dungeons

But let's be honest here, they can path wherever the gently caress they want. They will phase past railings, fences, walls, and teleport to skip the animations entirely when and where they feel like it.

Ran waterfront on NM with my bots, tons of healing and we are doing great! I jump from the ledge to a cage to get to the next support. 1 bot tries to follow and falls but another bot is right behind so no bi--another bot falls. Its ok i'll just fend off these stormvermin th--3rd bot falls while trying to help the other 2 bots. ARE YOU loving KIDDING ME. From a flawless run to all 3 bots dying with full health and healing because they can't loving make a jump or pull up another bot without also falling off. Oh yeah my last stand was 2 gunners while i hid behind a support slowly being killed by a wave of rats.

Do not ever take the upper path to the other side.

Yeah it took me about forty runs to realize there is a lower path to get to the other pillars that doesn't involve jumping and rat punting

It took me 40 runs to notice the upper path. You walk by the lower one, and it doesn't have a big rear end hole

Just a quick question but which would be a better pick for Sword and Daggers? Bloodlust-Second Wind-Dev Blow or Bloodlust-Off Balance-Swift Slaying (Charged Attack) ?
|
# ? Jan 23, 2017 18:11 |
|
Swift Slaying charged on that weapon is kind of mediocre. Usually if you're using a charged attack something's gonna die, so in that case Berserking is going to come up way more. I generally prefer either Berserking or Swift Slaying Normal. The only time Swift Slaying Charged is better than Berserking is if it procs while you're trying to melee a Stormvermin, and at only 7% odds that's not going to happen super often, especially since stormvermin are usually killed at range anyway. Off Balance can be nice if you get aggroed by Roger, but that's also a situation that doesn't come up too many times a match. Second Wind isn't the greatest either, but it can be real nice if you get aggroed by roger, take a bad turn and get surrounded by small rats, or have to block a Stormvermin, and 50% is way better odds than 7%. Devastating Blow takes effect just dozens and dozens of times a match. So you've got one set of traits that don't come up incredibly often, vs. a set that comes up a lot more often. I'd go with Bloodlust-Second Wind-Dev Blow, If you like the fast attack speed perks, I'd try to reroll for either Swift Slaying Normal or Berserking (I'd prefer Berserking, unless you play a lot of cataclysm difficulty).

Hmmm, what's this button on the shrine I've never bothered to look at in 50 levels. Oh, I can reroll my weapon bonuses for 5 orange candy instead of paying 40 for a brand new one each time?

In khazk dro we started playing with an elf bot but then someone joined and i didn't notice so i was disparaging the elf the entire time until i realized it was a PC hahaha. I'm like sorry i thought you were still a bot! To be fair the elf ran alone to a tome, got surrounded by an ambush and i had to chop my way to her with my war pick. Once i got her free a loving roger spawns and we handle it well except the elf gets knocked down then proceeds to hog all the heals even though she doesn't got heal share.

Should I use Saltzpyre's red falchion (bloodlust, stamina shield and power push i think?) or an orange falchion with bloodlust, scavenger and backstabbery? I'm running the two different types of crossbows for ranged if that matters.

both are good, but it largely depends on what you want to use it for. the red will be better for straight up fighting, the orange you have works better for flanking and killing roger. the latter is what saltzpyre traditionally does as one of the team's top two strikers, but it's sometimes difficult for public teams to grasp and respond to that so the former will be overall safer. you'll definitely want to use the volley bow in either case i think, but the volley crossbow is higher ammo so scavenger isn't terribly high value for it.

Cool, I'm running with a team of 2 to 3 other people, so backstabbing Roger will work. And the scavenger is like a 20% rate and it saved our group's rear end on a summoner's peak nightmare run earlier, so I can dig that.

Free DLC: Lorebook http://steamcommunity.com/games/235540/announcements/detail/495794557586148811 When I accessed Fatshark's developer console back a few months it contained some traces of this Lorebook thing. We all wrote it off as something they had intended to include but never did, like a lot of things. Basically, as it says here, it put a lot of pages around the maps for you to hunt down. I don't know if they're highlighted or not or to be hidden like Grimoires but it's there at any rate. Also I saw there's a Trueflight on the board with Skull Cracker & Distraction. One broken perk and one insanely useless (for the weapon) perk. Lunethex fucked around with this message at 23:24 on Jan 23, 2017 |

I'll try to get in the beta. They said they're doing some new patch system. So, hopefully yes on the dialogue. This game feels more alive when banter is going non-stop.

People also seem cool with the narrative contrivance that some pissant lesser clan like Fester could rise up in the world enough to unite the Great Clans just so we can get a game that puts all the iconic Skaven enemies together. I think Vermintide has either avoided the grogs or they're whining in some obscure hole beneath anyone's notice.

I'm willing to guess that the worst of the warhammer grogs are not particularly interested in an FPS/action game like vermintide so they're off doing...whatever it is that they do instead of complaining about vermintide Also the orange cylindrical box is on the board today

it's ostensibly an open question how Fester got affluent enough to afford so many eshin, moulder, and skyre specialists because by all accounts in both the fluff and crunch they do not come cheap (skaven specialists are really point-heavy in the tabletop), but anyone asking that question seriously should basically loudly told to stab more rat
