Marx supported capitalist expansion to facilitate the conditions for international revolution lol

Granted, that was before the global markets were saturated as they are now. I don't really think it's our priority to have an ardent position on free trade vs. protectionism though. Both are capitalism hence both are bad

Fascism and social democracy are also both capitalism, we can still choose to side with one over the other

Fascism has more protectionism than neoliberalism typically :O Plus I don't think that should be a justification for popular front politics

forget it dude, telling homework explainer that a communist party did a bad thing once is like telling someone that a square peg fits into a round hole, you're just not going to get through

that would indeed be damning if you ignore everything else that happened in the weimar and nazi era, perhaps due to a big rock falling on your head

also that participation in the strike both from kpd and nsdap members was low, with nazi party members on strike numbering in the low hundreds

Many bourgeois sectors will be scared away by our participation in the strike. But that is not decisive. These sectors can be won back later easily; but if we lose the worker, he will be lost for good.

hmmm, looks like the nazis supported the strike out of craven political maneuvering — and against their petit bourgeois base — while the communists did so because they were the party of the working class. but they totally organized together, held hands, hugged and kissed despite, you know, having pitched battles in the streets of berlin up to that point

at the anti-wto actions of the early 2000s, there were communists. there were also some nazis. yet if you claimed that was evidence of collaboration you'd (rightly) be called an idiot. one cold war later and you can make up whatever bullshit you want i guess

Of course a liberal would erase the history of the centrist liberal party being the ones to help pass the Enabling Act in the first place. Better to blame the communists they killed before fully taking power.

despite what we've learned from the 20th century, building socialism that can progress sustainably is still experimental. the successes of the next era are doomed to constituent failures and that will be hard to deal with, but they'll be child's play compared to the struggles previous parties went through

If I were as charismatic as you I would be too busy getting laid to be concerned over trifling matters such as what kind of world my illegitimate offspring should inherit.

I like being able to work the mud and earth, with an implement on a stick if necessary. Sadly, my interest in agri/horticulture was originally spawned by an interest in cultivating the Devil's Weed. Oh, the crooked roads old men travel.

Notwithstanding, the sweat of your brow is quite attractive (no homo). Hope you're getting paid for it.
