you can do per client muting on zoom if you're the meeting host or an account admin. mya have to enable it in the extended account features though.

they switched me to a new office. this office features a vent thingy that is apparently shared with the office next to me. i can hear the lady in the next office sitting on hold with the conference musing playing. bonus, non-webex content: the new office is across the hall from one of our assistant VPs. he gets in early, and quietly, so yesterday there's a strong chance he heard me rip an enormous fart when i thought nobody else had gotten in to the office yet.
