c webex s: today was okay, only the remote people not in a room couldnt view the screen, so the presenter had to describe each issue in detail. over half the meeting cropped 2/3 of the remote team out of view. for the last 15 minutes they all stood for some reason and even they didnt know why

PM- "So we're still talking about letting the helpdesk handle X?"
Me- "Hang on, I need to make a correction here. I warned the helpdesk, handed them documentation just in case, but we need to fix this ahead of time. Raj was working with the other team to solidify a proper fix, but I don't have details as I'm way behind right now as I'm getting tasked with dozens of minor issues but am desperately behind on <task 71>, which is sufficiently critical right now that after this call I need to go offline entirely and spend a few hours knocking it out without distraction."
PM- "Ok so I'm going to assign this helpdesk thing from Raj to you then..."
Me- "No, Roy."

we just activated teams on our o365 subscription

more people are using it compared to the rouge slack we also have, but it's just a shittier slack

emoticons/gifs/images take up an enormous amount of room on screen and don't auto collapse so conversations get really difficult to follow

and every god drat message in a chat room gets an enormous reply button under it

Dawg I strung 10 different gifs into a single message 8 times in a row and couldn't replicate this issue.

HipChat crashes if you manage to get more than 4 in your window fairly reliably.

wtf are you talking about, you can't display inline gifs, or even pngs/jpgs, in a teams chat.

you have to enable it in the teams settings on the 365 admin portal. also you should be able to drag or paste in images if you want.

I haven't had lag issues during chat in teams, but sometimes switching chats is slow.

Tech- "Uh, no. It DIDNT let him, and gave an error saying don't do that. That's what that message is."
PM- "Ok can we make this friendlier? A lot of users won't understand this error."
Tech- "If we have that many users trying to inject SQL we have bigger problems."
