Ugh I'm so not looking forward to Monday.... A little over a week ago I fell down some steps face first into a concrete paver patio. Smashed my nose completely, and required over 40 stitches. I also cracked my c5 vertebrae. It hurts, a lot. So I've been stuck at home. Monday I get to go to the plastic surgeon to get my nose set. They had to wait for it to heal some so there was something to set--that's how smashed it is. I'm so not looking forward to that. I haven't been able to drive, or really go to work which sucks hardcore. Finally got my work laptop home so I can work remotely and not have to go on short term disability, cuz it won't quite meet the bills. And I'm gonna be back out of commission for a at least a few more days on starting Monday. Oh and I have to wear this stupid neck brace for at least 5 more weeks. I just want my life back, being injured sucks. But at least I have health insurance, after seeing what the charges for the ER and all the scans and tests, and pills, and what doctors visits would have been, I'm so lucky to have decent health insurance through work. But man spine injuries suck, even walking and standing hurts a lot.

I legit did not expect the kind of stabbing pain I get in my upper back/neck if I'm sitting upright or standing. And having a broken nose with it sucks even more, can't really breathe through my nose at all right now, so if I try to lay back completely I feel like I'm gonna drown or something.

Probably THE greatest rock and roll song of all time. First time I heard it, I the started working all summer long to buy a cheap set of drums to learn how to play that song. Still play every now and then but man, my skills have diminished. I subscribe to the Steve Jordan method of less is more these days.

I wouldn't say bands like Zep and AC/DC are bad, but they are certainly overplayed. Working retail and hearing the same songs by them over and over and over and over and over has killed any notion of enjoyment of them.
