As The Hill’s Will Sommer pointed out, the list hinges on the Trump administration’s accurately reporting crime statistics to begin with considering that POTUS is already willing to hang his hat on the notion that three to five million imaginary illegal immigrants voted in the election. And that’s not even considering the creepy Third Reich-style implications of publishing lists of undesirables

Someone needs to ask Wil Sommer about how not publishing Rape statistics in Sweden working out for Sweden???

Damned fool!

And will he eat his words when the investigation of voter fraud turns out enough illegals voted to potentially sway the election?????

Perhaps most useful would be, in addition, a cumulative list since of the illegal aliens and "refugees" horrendous crimes and vehicular manslaughters since Trump announced his decision to run for the presidency.

It shouldn't be that hard for all national law enforcement to already have that information.

There are several similar cumulative list of koranimal crimes which should impress even the most ignorant bleeding heart.

Why is it that the Left has to describe everything done by a Republican administration as Nazi like?

I don’t recall reading anywhere about the Nazis publishing list of undesirables. As I recall if the Nazis found you undesirable you would typically be rousted out of your bed in the middle of the night and never be seen again.

As a rule, every illegal alien should be either charged with identity theft (on account of social security numbers used etc) or tax evasion.

First one to use a Nazi comparison, loses the argument. Of course the idiot doesn't know those are public stats accessible from various LE agencies. Anyone can look them up, just few bother.

Then there are immigration NGO's like Fairus.org and CIS.org who provide such stats. You want the latest on illegal immigration, those are the the go-to sites for answers, stats, info, etc. Check them out...you'll be astounded by how little you knew about the problem of illegal immigration. I used to contribute to FAIR until I got into actual street activism against the invasion.

Never thought I'd see the day when a President would take such quick and decisive action. It's simply a dream come true for me. I have been fighting this fight since the 1980s when they would use our side gate in San Diego to continue their trek and scare my children. Our home was positioned on a street curve so it was the shortest route.

Someone should make a running list of his EO's, memos, department/agency directives, and the jobs he's creating almost daily.

They walked this one back about an hour later and said that this was just one example of one way they're thinking about funding the wall. There's another 50 posts but nothing's going to top that one, so I'm stopping here.

One quick story before I leave. A few years ago, there was a small town in the southern US with an undocumented immigrant problem. Most of the undocumented immigrants worked at one specific processing plant. That processing plant was, by far, the town's single largest employer. They were acting unethically and were not participating in the e-verify system. And then one day, they started doing e-verify. The money that they were paying the undocumented immigrants dried up, and they all left. But nobody came in to replace them. The town suddenly found itself in a financial crisis. Shops all over the town saw their incomes drastically plummet. Tax funds dried up. Money stopped flowing.

Unfortunately I don't clearly recall the rest of this story. It was published somewhere, but I neglected to bookmark it. The bottom line is that a whole bunch of places, whether we like it or not, are funded entirely by the result of undocumented workers. Americans don't want these jobs and won't take them, and we're about to, as a nation, scare off the only people that are willing to do the work.

Even if we weren't facing an authoritarian nationalist administration, we'd still be so, so hosed.

Nothing more rightwing than a National Work Program eh?

Now, this Freeper is dismissing the fact that most Housing Project Freeloaders (HPFs) already have low paying, highly demanding, extremely corporate friendly and employee unfriendly jobs that they are supplementing with "welfare" checks. This is a given because Freepers are ignorant. So we HAVE to start this program at the assumption that every HPF has 24 hours a day of free time. Also, being a Freeper, his plan hinges on the HPF not being paid hourly at the minimum wage because either A: welfare pays so much money that it's above and beyond the minimum wage for eight hours, or B: the program throws the whole idea of working a fair amount for a fair wage (something the Bible explicitly says to do BTdubs) out the window and the HPF will get their usual pittance for eight hours of work. And, of course, that the farmer will be nothing but honest and fair with this new slavery system because, well golly gee farmers are white trustworthy. Also no one on Welfare is disabled in any way, all able bodies layabouts that just don't want to work.

But, beyond all that:

quote:

Mr. Farmer will work with the government to get his products to the market and the labor costs (Negotiated between Farmer and Government at the Benefit to the Farmer) will be sent to the Government.
i'm not going to do the numbers but, instead of just paying the HPF to "sit around all day" he'd rather, in addition to paying them the same amount to work 8 hours, pay to purchase, deliver, and distribute free food, pay farmers to find and transport them, and pay help farmers to deliver their goods (all at the "benefit to the farmer" which, I assume, means the government will give the farmer the best end of the deal just because they are noble farmer men)?

I swear to Christ if you asked a Freeper whether they'd rather give someone 5 dollars for free, or start a twenty million dollar program to make sure that a single person did NOT get five dollars for free they'd ask "Which party does the president belong to?" to find out how to answer

Well, not the same story, but here we've got Vlasic's one and only plant, it's the town's largest employer and has kept the place floating for ever. The plant never had a staffing problem till about 10 years back when all the un-documented workers were fired. Since then the place has never run with a full staff and can never meet quotas, so they gave up Subway and McDonalds, lost Walmart's Great Value line, and have been struggling for some time to keep up with demand.
The reason they're never fully staffed is because, frankly, your first few years are a living hell. Everyone gets hired on as a seasonal and you'll normally get stuck doing the shittiest jobs which means inside a food processing plant in 120 degree heat working your rear end off for 9 or 10 hours a day for slightly over minimum wage. The turnover rate is astounding. No one wants to keep working a job that becomes a hazard to your health for next to nothing in pay.

Incidently when the unemployment fraud popped up while I was there only the older lifers that were natural born citizens were the ones scamming money off the state, some in excess of $20k

3- Chinese products become less competitive and they lose market share. Instead of buying products from China, consumers will buy from Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand..

4- Manufacturing plants will shift their production away from China.

From Trump’s Pox Americana-President has sounded an unprecedented retreat from its role as a world leader posted by freeper Forgiven_Sinner

Yes, you read that right. Pox Americana. It's a really, really fiery article in Foreign Policy.

the article posted:

The most profound of these changes is that after almost a century of American leadership on the world stage, Trump has unabashedly sounded the retreat. Whether under the umbrella of his “America First” views, his willingness to let other powers take the lead, his distrust of international institutions, or pure ignorance, he has ushered in a shift from what was hailed as the Pax Americana to what may soon be seen as the Pox Americana, a blight befalling the world as a consequence of mean-spirited, ill-considered, short-sighted U.S. foreign policy.
[...]
America was once a nation that was seen as actively arguing for the principles that made the country great — sometimes too actively for the taste of many around the world. We made the case for a free press; now the president assails the media, publicly attacks journalists as “the most dishonest people” on Earth, and thus sends a message to authoritarian leaders worldwide that he is a kindred spirit. We celebrated freedom of religion; now we have become a nation that has embraced Islamophobia and seems to be taking steps to punish individuals simply because of their religious beliefs. We opposed ethno-nationalism; now we have overnight emerged as an acknowledged leader and supporter of a global movement based on nationalism and fomenting hatred of “the Other.”

GOLLOCKS!
From What’s So Strange About Trump’s White House Portrait? Experts Explain. posted by freeper goldstategop

It's a piece on Vox, which you might want to click through to just to remind yourself of the contrast between Trump and Obama.

the article posted:

Trump’s posture and slight lean forward portray the president as an aggressive figure, says Tamzin Smith, a professional photographer who specializes in portraiture. The catchlights in the lower part of Trump’s eyes — those bright white dots just beneath his pupils — indicate he’s being lit from below. For a portrait like this, that’s a “bizarre” lighting choice, she said.
[...]
Trump’s positioning in front of a green-screened White House is unique. In other portraits, presidents almost always were photographed in front of more neutral backgrounds, like a wall or bookcase. Trump’s backdrop, however, gives the photo a kind of “‘Hey, I’m president’ emphasis,” said Finnegan.
[...]
“Trump has perfected this sort of serious-looking furrowed-brow scowl,” Finnegan said. “It would be a little weird, I think, if you know at the moment where he’s giving that inaugural address, the photo that launches is a big toothy grin.”

Martinez agrees that the portrait reinforces the image Trump worked to cultivate throughout the campaign. “That’s what he wants to project, that he’s gonna intimidate people,” he said. “It doesn’t surprise me that that’s the look that he’s trying to portray in this.”
Anyway, it's something making GBS threads on their orange daddy, so freep is sure to hate it.

For the record, all of the use of "alpha" and "beta" in modern culture is based off a misunderstanding of a poorly constructed piece on the behavior of wolves. The behavior was studied while the wolves were in captivity. Normal wolf packs are families, and the parents are in charge. The author himself called the thing bullshit. The entire thing is wrong, and the fact that there are people out there that build their lives and mindsets around being "alpha" is just loving tragic.

quote:

To: goldstategop

“He looks very intense, he looks mean, he looks aggressive,” Smith said. “It’s really not a nice light setup in my opinion.”

I'm not American, but I assure you that here in Southeast Asia at least the Chinese curse "May you live in interesting times" has never rung louder.

That someday, god willing we avoid nuclear fire, I'll be able to gripe about younger generations not knowing what true sacrifice is and how they think everything's so hard for them...you know, when I'm not bitching about their music or keeping off my grass.....OH GOD, I'LL BE A FREEPER!

It really is exhausting. I feel like I have to be vigilant constantly for new EOs, but it's not like I can do anything about it. Incredibly anxiety-inducing. Also I am worried that I keep focusing on things that affect me and not enough about everything, which may be the plan the whole time. For instance, I am in the middle of cancer treatment, with a big surgery coming up next month. After that, with the repeal of the ACA, I am well and truly hosed, for the rest of my life. If the GOP gets what it wants (why wouldn't it, they have all the power), I will be pushed into a High Risk Pool, and if it's anything like past HRPs, my premium will be double what I pay now, so a monthly payment of close to $1,000, I'll have a deductible of around $10k, and a yearly and lifetime cap. Past yearly caps (this is for anyone with insurance pre-ACA, not just HRPs) could be as low as $75,000. My surgeries so far this year will easily be in the $300,000 range. So, effectively, it's not insurance at all. Lifetime caps were usually around $1 million.

So, all that to say: I'm constantly running through scenarios by which I might live the rest of my life until I'm eligible for Medicare (more than 20+ years). But that's just my issue. Imagine I'm an employee of the EPA, or an immigrant or a refugee, etc. With everyone worried about their own "thing," he's getting away with dismantling our country.

edit: By the way, that's my "best case scenario," with the assumption that the GOP actually does keep the ban on pre-existing condition insurance exclusions. I could just not be eligible for insurance at all. This is a list of conditions (and occupations and medications and activities) insurance companies used to exclude people for:

Pre-existing Conditions and Medical Underwriting in the Individual Insurance Market Prior to the ACA

Communism will help more white people than anyone else. Any equal measures unfairly provide less to minority populations just because there's less of them. Democracy is truly the tyranny of the mob.
