Our local police departments now have a mix of chargers, explorers, tauruses and a few holdover crown vics. I used to be a world loving champ at identifying cvpi headlights/tail lights in the middle of old folk hell florida's deluge of panther platform old folk mobiles. Now those skills are useless.

There are a lot of explorers here in Michigan and I swear they are all black, silver, or white and they all have the blacked out grill making them ALL look like popo. I don't even speed most of the time but it makes me do a quick check of the speedo every goddamn time.

Just keep a loaded gun in the car and shoot a warning shot at them. If they shoot back it's the police. edit: who am I kidding it's just as likely to be a civilian shooting back.

Yea the modern FWD interceptors are probably durable enough. Up here in Canada they seem to like the police Tahoe, it's apparently the most durable police vehicle, which makes sense. RCMP doesn't seem to use Chargers, but they are popular with municipal police.

Chicago Police Dept is about 100% Explorers these days with some holdovers from the golden era. We have a good amount of old-school paddy wagons too. Explorers here are both marked and unmarked. The tipoff in my state as in many states is the license plate. Michael Scott fucked around with this message at 21:36 on Jan 27, 2017 |

If GM still had their old hybrid truck platform, I'd say they should take some of those and do some suspension stuff to drop the ride height on them. sell as police cars. Cheap, durable, big battery, and hopefully they can make it so it won't flip over all the time. Either that or ask Ford to bring back the lightning

Kinda funny, for the longest time after the hellcat came out, they were all sitting around here with $20k market adjustments on top of the $80k sticker in canada. Now what i would bet are those very same cars are sitting around everywhere with $10k on the hood. All the dealers are advertising $69,999, which is about $53k USD.

The only good carry is on-body, such as an OWB or IWB setup. Cop Porn Popper posted:So rumors are flying that mitsubishi is reviving the eclipse name plate.
