dear politically knowledgable people: is joining the "justice democrats" a good or bad idea name dropped on that jimmy dore - who i've only watched two shows of, not sure if quack yet or not - show as an anti corporatist democratic organization i don't really feel like joining all the democratic resistances right now as right now i'm more angry at the democrats than trump. they allowed this to happen and were always basically on the republicans side and just joining them and protesting feels like not giving them any incentive to change. but i also know that i don't know that much about politics and would like to learn from someone. anyway i found the facebook page and the comments seem normal democrats and not the dreaded boogieberniemen, like people saying "we need to primary the hell out of cory brooker" and "we shouldn't go further left, we should focus on economic concerns instead of identity politics" (which is confusing, because i thought going left was the other way around?) so maybe that's not who they are.

From what i've read of justice dems they seem all over the place. I'll admit to a strong bias in that I strongly dislike The Young Turks, and then this was one of the first articles I got when googling "justice democrats" http://www.dailykos.com/story/2017/1/26/1625661/-The-Justice-Democrats-The-Future-of-the-Democratic-Party The author mentioning the involvement of the internet atheist community and people like http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Sargon_of_Akkad makes me think this is the mythical group that is ~edpol only~ or they are too unorganized to just not include toxic idiots in the structure.
