Alas New Zealand is most definitely not immune to the sovereign citizen scourge. Cops turn up with a warrant for someone's arrest and the dude's son goes nuts, videos everything and it gets posted on Facebook, cue a ton of people telling him he's an idiot. Yeah sovcits seem to be a unique thing to countries where the rule of law generally holds sway. You wouldn't get any sovereign citizen crap in sub Saharan Africa because instead of taking you to court or fining you the police would just shoot you and take your stuff.
