FPzero posted:I feel like going physical or digital with Switch really won't matter like it did with WiiU since it's all cartridges this time. I went ahead and ordered a 3rd party carrying case for like, $20, and it comes with two little 4-cartridge cart holders for travel. 8 games + 1 in the switch itself is probably way more than I'll ever need for any amount of travel I do. Digital or no was also an actual consideration on the 3DS. Carrying around and swapping cartridges is more hassle than digital, and you can always lose or forget to bring your carts. Carrying around and swapping cartridges is more hassle than digital, and you can always lose or forget to bring your carts. Yeah, and I found myself buying digitally more on 3DS. Personally I think it was easier and safer to carry around the 3DS without a case or anything because of its clamshell design but with the Switch having nothing like that I wouldn't want my screen to get damaged in transit. That's why the carrying case was appealing and since it has an easy way to carry the carts built in, I may as well look into physical more this generation. If nothing else, I can always do both.

I don't think the Zelda Switch Case that comes with SE+ of BotW has spots for games, and Imma use the hell out of that. I do use a 24 game case for my 3DS games that I keep in my bag that's always with me though. If there's an account based system finally I'm hoping to buy more digital games.

My favorite part of that commercial is that we're supposed to want to be the people playing video games in a lecture hall or cafe with the volume cranked up.

I was so sure they were just waiting for the Switch presentation to go SURPRISE SUCKERS GENERATIONS X ON SWITCH but no, no Monster Hunter. switch is probably more expensive to dev for and capcom wants to get a little extra leverage out of current assets before tackling increased costs of monhun

like i doubt switch dev costs are high, but theyre probably higher than the 3DS and capcom still needs the cash flow from monhun

Our sink cabinet has legs, so we run it along the baseboard. If we weren't in an apartment I'd have an electrician install a new outlet closer.
