You can swap him in for buffs if the wagon's present but otherwise having both heavy hitters is better if for no other reason than they won't die to a stiff breeze.

Yay I managed to get Morrie. I got lucky and the metal babble got crit out after it got healed up. While I lost my healer, by that point he just had his skeleton left, who got crushed by my skeleton and ogre.

What's the best team for doing Rank S ASAP? I just did the Cash and Carrie sidequest and I have Skeledoid, Octurian and Talos. Most folks say I need the 3 Golems but seeing as you have to have the ability to fly for one of em... I can't quite do that.

Holy poo poo Domingos voice work... it keeps shifting from italian/spanish to scottish. The VA work in this game never really impressed me but this is just scary bad.

How did you guys build Morrie? I wanted to go claws because its new but rake and break undoes sap which is basically my entire strategy when it comes to bosses.

Sap mostly stops working on bosses around the time you get Morrie anyway. Besides, you can just not use it in those situations.

Okay cool, was able to do the Casino sidequest after getting Red. Also man I had no idea that dungeon had King Metal Slimes....that was a nice jump in levels from them! Much as I love Morrie, I am sticking with Hero, Red, Jessica, and Angelo. The later two just are too useful at times to let go, and their MP lasts a long time between Jessica staff skills and Angelo's leech bow.

If you're equipped/specced for metal slimes, they hang out in front of the Argonian Hunting Grounds. Otherwise, there's free healing deep in the Dark Ruins, so you can more or less grind directly in front of him.

I found this the most reliable method of levelling before Dhoulmagus as I didn't have much luck with metal slimes in Argonian Hunting Grounds, they never appeared unless you're supposed to hunt a certain non-slime monster?

The metal slimes don't appear inside the Argonian Hunting Ground, but outside of it near that tiny cottage with the free inn. They tend to appear by the fence and a lot of times in groups of eight.
