Also: How does it compare to Rust in terms of poo poo to do quotient? one thing that pissed me off about rust was it felt so flimsy and weak in game terms once you realized that the only poo poo to do was build a sticker shack and eventually upgrade it to rocks, get some guns and go kill others till you get bored.

I figure at least in conanworld you're going to at least see other people and hear some fuckin' lamentations instead of popping them / getting popped in the head from a bush with an AK-47, but does the PVE poo poo add much depth or does it eventually just boil down to twatting randoms with rocks and sticks all day.

Did you smash the corpses of the deers till they disappeared? Maybe try raiding some other peoples buildings and loot them.

Human NPCs have their own encampment and each have a class at bigger camps like priest, black smith etc. You can trade or learn recipes or religious rituals from bigger towns and trade. One of the big things you can do with the NPCs is you can do a raid on them, knock them out, drag them back to your camp and break their will so they become your thrall/enslaved to you. You can then put them to work at various crafting stations and basically slowly grow a city. One of the biggest things you'll be able to do is if you enthrall a high priest of a certain religion and have the top tier of an alter of that god you'll be able to summon that god's avatars that'll smash loving everything in its path

Basically top players in a server are going to be literal warlords

Any good spots for thrall hunting or is it completely random?
Of the non fighter/archer types mostly I find dancers although I found an armorer and smith on the raised NPC base in the NE that had the bridges going up to it.
I'm not sure what they are supposed to do once I have them, I put the smith into the blacksmith table but didn't see any change there.

They for sure need some sort of confirmation when picking them up though, people in my clan keep accidentally picking up the guard thralls and running off without noticing.

I found a Set priest who offered to make me an acolyte, is he the one I need to knock out and bring back for the altar?

And yep, rubberbanding actually has been fixed. Which is kinda nice, but also kinda awful at the same time. You can't circlestrafe enemies anymore to win. Killing stuff to level up is fairly difficult now, with melee weapons.

Been messing around in solo-play and this game is pretty good already. A lot more stuff to do than I expected for an EA title. Still some performance issues even in offline mode but the core of it is fun.

This game is also hard, crocodiles suck and will eat your lunch anytime you try to make it down to a river for water.

Idk why but for some reason I only get like 30fps in this game at any settings. ( I have max fps setting not locked to anything) it's strange as resident evil, dirt rally and whatnot work fine.
