ive called google support many times for various issues but nothing really compares to my experience with play music my gf wanted a family sub b/c she drives a shitload so i set it up but if you do it from a pc rather than a mobile device it would hang when you send out the invites. i tried it a couple times but it would always hang in the same spot. on mobile tho it turned out that it was prompting for my cvv number on my payment method. on the desktop it just locks up with no error or anything (still) in trying to diagnose the problem i was attempting to send out invites to a shitload of people so i had to erase my group and start fresh. nbd as no one had answered only the instant i was doing it my g/f accepted the invite. after that my settings said i had no family group and my g/fs settings said she was not in any family group but she had all the benefits of being in one like youtube red and play music it took three months of the same lady emailing me every couple weeks to ask if "the group" she had escalated to had fixed it and the answer always being no. we didnt mind since it worked for her purposes but once she went from her iphone to a pixel she wanted to share my paid apps and that didnt work. after 87 days and 22 emails she escalated to some other group and that guy emailed once and had it fixed in an hour. i replied back to him saying it worked but he never replied or confirmed or anything lol the lady was really friendly and spent literally hours on the phone trying to fix the problem but obv she was just as much at the mercy of googles black box as anyone else

you're sure you're not thinking of how google will sometimes call businesses to verify whether user-submitted phone numbers or other details for a business are legit?

in college i did cold calling surveys, mostly research stuff, but occasionally a trailer park or something would want to survey their residents. it wasn't terrible, but i wouldn't recommend it as a job.

bunker oil is dirty but no dirtier than the old diesel before low sulfur became mandatory. in practice the particulates are spun out before burning so the only real difference between bunker and old road diesel is whether theyre purified before or after theyre sold

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-02-13/one-reason-staffers-quit-google-s-car-project-the-company-paid-them-so-much A large multiplier was applied to the compensation packages in late 2015, resulting in multi-million dollar payments in some cases, according to the people familiar with the situation. One member of the team had a multiplier of 16 applied to bonuses and equity amassed over four years, one of the people said. They asked not to be identified talking about private matters.
