There's a meter at the top in between the health bars that starts out even but during the match it can change based on actions and if you're at a disadvantage, you will never win it.

I'm definitely doing better on Rush than any other stance, though the knockdown is the really annoying thing - I might have to go spend some time farming up gear with Majima and a fat stack of cash first.

I didn't notice any timing and just pressed Circle after dodging normally. The key is you have to be in 2nd Heat (it doesn't work in 3rd) and and your dodge has to be somewhat near your target.

Big thank you to whomever mentioned the Zap Gun as the key to Mr Shakedown fights. I am farming him as Majima because I don't particularly care for the cabaret minigame and it is both simple and hilarious to have a giant man challenge you to a fist fight, run around shooting him in the chest, and then get 60 million yen. However I am annoyed with the weapon agents. I have sent the Spy (best available agent) to Area 51 like 6 times with millions of extra yen and have yet to hit that 40% chance of him finding the cannon.

Chapter 13 complete  "she's his loving little sister" Well gently caress, never saw that one coming. Awesome. That scene in the love hotel was really good too. I hope I'll be able to enjoy beating down Shibusawa soon enough. Missed the afro guy on the shooting scene, was almost tempted to fail the mission to get the trophy. Holy poo poo I just finished the game. The main story was so good. That scene at the end with Majima encountering Makoto was so bittersweet.The character's starting to look like their later series selves at the end was also real good and the ending slides were a nice touch as well. God damnit this game is great. I only played Yakuza 3 before this and boy am I keen on continuing. It's just too bad Kiwami isn't out yet. You just can't invest in an individual property more than once per pay period. Your ultimate goal is to get 90% completion, that's when you can fight the King and take over his region. roughly the scale appears to be about he such for completion: Owning a D-Rank property - 5% Owning a C-Rank property - 6% Owning a B-Rank property - 8% Owning a A-Rank property - 10% Owning a S-Rank property - 12% (note that upgrading only gives you the difference, i.e. upgrading a Rank D to a Rank C only increases your total by 1%) Money battles add 1% if you win Fighting off trouble makers is 1% At 60% you'll be invited to a minigame challenge (varies by King). Winning this challenge is a flat +10%, Losing is a flat -10%. No deeds change hands. At worst you need to own 9 properties to make it to the King. Does anyone know if there are any additional requirements to unlock the silver hostess, Harumi, for the cabaret club? I'm following this guide and I've unlocked everyone else but she just isn't showing up at the location listed, there's no one in front of that beam in my game.

If you got the Smooth Criminal Trophy in this playthrough, Harumi should already be on the club's roster. She's one of the extra girls that Odyssey sends over with Noizomi if Majima completely nails their situation. (The other two are Kiara and Ume who are Bronze tier)
