So I bought that renaissance periodization $100 excel sheet, because apparently im totally clueless about eating the right amount of foods even after all these years. Something was definitely off, because I went straight to first cutting phase and my workout day carbs is probably double what they were before. Must be working, immediately busted a dl record.

Unflavored protein powder is the best. Just drink it in one gulp, don't sip it. Open your throat and toss it down. If you can't manage that you need to work on your hollering or dick sucking as appropriate.

The spreadsheet does all the work for you, the book tells you how to do everything and links to the science behind it. I'd go with the spreadsheet because I'm a busy guy that would rather have some PhD nerd do my math for me (aka I'm dumb). It tells you what to eat when, breaks things down by macro, and gives examples of what to eat. When I got it I think it came with their recipe book for free which has some delicious poo poo in it. The sheet does not swivel or pivot as far as I can tell.

99% of goons are totally incapable of not eating like children and the physiques that TFLC churned out over the years prove it. If a spreadsheet holds people accountable or takes away even a small amount of their lack of self control then it's $100 well spent.

Do you really need a spreadsheet for this? A guide telling you what to eat every drat day Like I honestly don't get it. Don't they have food labeling in America? Just look at the back of the foods package and you can see what's in it if you want to know what you're putting in yourself It's not hard! It's not hard at all! And then you don't have to follow someone elses food guide, you can make your own :O
