There are so many good moments in this episode. I can't wait to hear why goons hated this one.

I was shocked and very amused by the dialogue in this episode. It was a similar reaction as when I saw that one South Park episode where they say "poo poo" about 200 times.

This was a great episode. Glad Mac found a modicum of peace with himself (more than any of the other characters have over twelve seasons, for sure)Mr Ice Cream Glove posted:
Not to mention Charlie saying friend of the family, and with a hard r to boot!

I laughed for almost a minute at "if it smells like poo poo, you must acquit." The writers of Bojack limited the swears themselves to give it more of an impact when they decide to swear.

The gang using vulgar language doesn't really stand out or feel forced, it's really how you'd expect them to talk all the time. I don't feel like Sunny is the sort of show that should hold back on the bad words just so they'd feel special.

There's not really any legal guidelines for what's acceptable on cable. This has to be one of the best episodes of Always Sunny ever. I knew it was coming because there is an internet video of a guy riding a bike outside with a dildo attachment but as soon as I saw it I just lost it and giggled through the rest of the episode. So apparently Mac is gay for real this time http://uproxx.com/tv/charlie-day-mac-its-always-sunny-in-philadelphia/2/ A lot of people when they come out, especially later in life turn super, super gay before they dial things back a bit just to kind of try it out so it could be really fun to watch a super gay Mac and the gang's reaction to it, it's a chance to really re-invent a character for the first time.

Basically 20 minutes of me giggling like a loon. This is my fave episode this season by crazy big landslide. Some notes I have are Charlie doing a sweet jump kick to Mac and Mac not even being able to acknowledge despite talking about jump kicks for 10+ years and that the writers for the episode clearly wanted to make the most unairable episoe of TV imaginable, so they made sure every single person on camera was smoking cigarettes at once. It really must have been just super hilarious to write this and hand it in and get back "awesome, let's go"

That episode (much like a friendship with Chase Utley) was a real home run. My favorite scenes have always been "the gang sits across a desk/table from a normal person," and they made an entire episode of just that. Simply fantastic.

Good episode, and I'm glad Mac is out of the closet for real this time. It opens up a lot of new potential jokes and storylines, and they can still do "Mac doesn't realize something is sexual" jokes because gay or straight he's still dumb as Hell. Also, it was kind of sweet to see him achieve a brief moment of peace and happiness by accepting himself for who he is and he made 14 dollars!

I really liked the way they handled it, I mean the joke was kind of played out at this point and Mac was barely fighting it anymore, the last time he came out he went back in because of all his weird religious stuff, this time he had an out of his out and just decided not to take it. I don't think they will take it back but if they do it will be really sad, also not taking advantage of a comedy mine with Mac dealing with being out for the first time for good. Also: https://twitter.com/RMcElhenney/status/829548938772385792 That would be a pretty dick thing to say as the character and writer if they were planning on putting him back in the closet. Got a real Conan O'Brien vibe from him. When Frank yelled out human being it actually stunned me for a second. It was like an urge to laugh and recoil at the same time. Then the whole conversation with the second arbitrator I knew somehow someone was going to say friend of the family and Charlie just says it like "so what?". Such a great episode.

"So when you call me a human being, you're saying that you want to set me on fire." "Well.... I guess that is kinda dark...." I love watching the Gang reason things out - as has been mentioned before, the four of them (Frank is his own bizarre thing) collectively have the common sense of a single regular person which they just share out unevenly between them, so it was neat to see them shifting back and forth throughout the episode.
