But then you'd have to be prepared for fans complaining that for some reason there are geth in the Andromeda galaxy and they all have wordy speaking roles. Actually that sounds fine yeah

Two days before a brand-new Nintendo console, nevermind one of the most-wanted games of the last 4-5 years (Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild), is not a good place for any new release to be. I'm calling it that Horizon will also sell better than Zelda because no one gives a poo poo about Nintendo.

chocolateTHUNDER posted:Shadowrun 360 was honestly a very good game. It was basically Counter-strike with magic, very well balanced and fun to play. I think it got a bad rap because it was basically an MP online only game for $60 with 10 maps that came out in 2007. Honestly though, it was the type of game where you didn't mind playing on the same 10 maps because rounds played out differently every time. I don't remember much about that game, but I remember some really hilarious situations you could get into where you would be bleeding out and stuck under a tree of life, praying that one of your teammates could help you (by resurrecting the person who previously resurrected you? Something like that.) It was an awesome game, especially in a pre-COD4 console shooter space.

I remember Microsoft almost went out of their way to kill Shadowrun by moving its release date to like three months before Halo 3 came out and then deciding to give them zero budget for any DLC or extra maps or anything to make up for what wasn't completed for the game. The tree of life/resurrection stuff was awesome and I liked gliding around too.

If you were resurrected by someone, you had a built-in incentive to try and protect them since if they died you would start bleeding out. Warping through a wall, shotgunning an dwarf in the face before he drains your mana, and warping back through was some ill poo poo back in the day

Because all cynicism aside, it's going to be a failure.

Is it me or does Uncharted 4 run in like 20 FPS in 4K HDR? I beat the game on a 1080P (PS4 Pro) and it looked amazing. Just got a 4K TV and loaded it up...frame rate drops everywhere. Granted, I've only messed with one level (driving through mud). Ratchet & Clank looks great though

Nintendo are finally starting to get their poo poo together with mobile gaming. They've just released a very polished version of Fire Emblem for iOS and I like it. Their consoles are done. You're a total moron if you buy a switch after the wiiu. It's a 2 horse race.
