I thought MGTOW was the male equivalent of separatist feminism where they just stay away from the feeemales altogether?
I support it, because it's far better for guys like that to be staying away from women than being MRAs/PUAs.

Medicare is the funniest freep topic because you can see the shift from the 1990s as the boomers who bitched about old people getting free stuff start drawing it, and now they've "earned it" while the Gen X freepers call them mooching socialists.
Everything I needed to learn about Republican mindset came from the girl I know who used to post allcaps rants about how Obamacare was unconstitutional when it hadn't been passed yet. Then her parents' health care coverage ran out and they told her she had to pay out-of-pocket for her own care...
..the impressive thing was her first logical step was not universal health care or the ACA, but a change.org petition asking Obama to make her specific-but-relatively-rare condition paid for 100% by the government. When that garnered 30something signatures, she then decided that universal health care was the greatest thing ever and wrote open letters to Obama personally pleading for him to make it happen.
She blocked and never spoke to me again after I made some joke that implicitly reminded her that she was relying on Obamacare. Despite not seeing her posts for years I'd be willing to bet that despite being partially Hispanic she still voted for Trump.

I like that Freep really thinks Trump can run the country like a business: if he doesn't like what the middle managers do, he can just issue executive orders that overrule everything and we just have to suck it up and deal with it.
You'd think seeing the courts slap down this order so fast would tell them "No, he can't just issue orders with impunity". But then they wouldn't have voted for Trump.

Article I, Section 3, Clause 7: “Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States; but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to Law.”

If not, what I would support is looking into the backgrounds of some of these judges. Based on info I’ve read elsewhere, I have to wonder if some of them are compromised in one or more ways.
In fact, regardless of the politics of the situation, I would support looking into the integrity of these judges. Smells bad to me.

I mean, how cool would it be if they split the current judges and Trump got to name at least half of both courts? Still, putting the three most liberal states together, in CA, HI and OR, seems to guarantee that there would still be one even more liberal court, over time, that cases could always be shopped to.

The Judiciary has no authority to override the president’s authority. That’s called separation of powers. And they don’t have the authority to decide cases involving non U.S. citizens.

What I don't get is how two courts of law could rule against what is plainly stated in the law. When the courts refuse to enforce the law as plainly written and commonly observed, what stops a judge from declaring the election null and void, which a lot of liberals were screaming for, or even declaring himself the President until a new election can be held?

I don't think that's true at all. Aliens are often convicted of crimes, incarcerated, and even executed if they commit a crime on US soil. Not trying to apply that to the Trump EO case, just speaking directly to your comment.
As far as the Trump EO case goes, I think the other poster is correct who says that if the law plainly says in black and white that Trump is correct and the court is wrong, he should be able to ignore them and proceed.

Chief Justice Roberts needs to issue an order consolidating the litigation in some court other than the Ninth Circuit, preferably a circuit with a strong handle on national security issues.

However, President Trump MUST not defy the court (9th or any other court). The DEMs want to impeach Trump. NEVER give them ammo they can use to make such a case.
Remember the Travel Ban is only for 90 days (120 for refugees) while “extreme vetting” procedures are put in place. The Travel Ban was never intended to be permanent.
The President needs to rush the “extreme vetting” procedures into place. Get them done in 30 days instead of 90/120 days. The “extreme vetting” procedures will be used by US embassies to select which foreign nationals can receive a visa to visit/attend school/relocate to the US. Make the procedures so “air tight” that most nationals from the dangerous countries can’t qualify for a visa.
When I say dangerous countries, I mean the 7 countries identified in the EO, plus Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Albania, etc.

Jesus freep, Trump can't just write whatever he wants and declare it a law. that's specifically what the courts are for, to rule whether it is a constitutional law to be enforced. You know, the same courts that protect the government from curb stomping you guys for being racist fundy assholes making death threats.

since it is both CLEARLY constitutional and specifically authorized by statute (AND since previous courts have dismissed such challenges on the basis that they lack jurisdiction to overturn presidential national security.border.defense orders)

So when the courts struck down Obama's illegal DACA Executive Order, that was unconstitutional?
And they don’t have the authority to decide cases involving non U.S. citizens.
Article III, section 2 of the Constitution gives the federal courts jurisdiction over cases involving "foreign states, citizens or subjects."

On mobile but some people using third party programs to read Twitter last year determined that all the fragmented, angry tweets came from an Android and the generic "Thanks for your support!" tweets came from an iPhone. This would suggest that the crazy tweets really are him and his staff is doing all the normal ones.
