I love Neil's series of... I'm not quite sure what to call them, I guess "Spaghettis" since the concept originates from this song but I don't think he'll ever make a better one than Fly Away.

That whole section starting with loving Tim Allen grunting is fantastic. Yeah you get elaborate cum jokes like 'Bustin', but some of that stuff is really well put together.

Drag a song from the left onto a song on the right and boom, mashup: http://themagicipod.com

My personal favs are 99 Problems/A Thousand Miles and Lose Control/Seven Nation Army

Also I was not surprised to learn that Touch The Sky/All Star works because those two songs will work over/under anything.

I like Bustin because it's both a really crude joke and a really clever edit if the original song, and I love that dissonance, the gulf between really clever and really stupid. Then it's followed with the Stairway to Heaven-Scrubs track, which is great.

I can't stop messing with this and now I'm wondering why has no one done a mashup album of rap over Cake instrumentals already :saddowns:

I really like the solemn sounding vocals, I'd love to hear more songs that are turned into 'serious' versions with this technique.

Worth noting that these co-workers work at harmonix, so this isn't a "my friends made a lovely web app" this is "my friends are making a legit game"

Sometimes, there's a man, well, he's the man for his time and place. He fits right in there. And that's Jimmy T.
Hey all! The DJ/Producer group Two Friends released the latest volume of their Big Bootie Mix series. I posted Volume 10 when it came out and a lot of people liked it so I thought I would share #11. For those unfamiliar, it's a DJ Mix with a lot of house/electro instrumentals mashed up with various vocals from different genres and decades. I watched a little video they put out that explained their process for making these mixes and it looks intense. There are a total of 115 different tracks used in this 1 hour mix so I hope you enjoy!

For sure! Yah I love all of the mixes in that series, 11 has been on repeat for a couple weeks now. I really like their original music and some of the remixes they put out as well and would definitely recommend taking a look.
