Speaking of grenades, mini grenades are the worst. I got service stars with Frag, Impact, Gas, & Incendiary no problem. Mini Grenades on the other hand... (If you haven't tried impact grenades yet, do it. They are awesome.)

I decided after playing for 170 hours I should try tanks. I started using the light howitzer tank but I'm not sure it's the best variety. Anyone have any tips on which light and heavy tank variants to use? Not sure if I'll use the landship but if I do I'd use the tank hunter version to get that dope tankgewehr.

You can do some fairly decent work in the mortar land ship if you sit back and mortar objectives. The howitzer light tank is like a slightly less good arty truck. I've never had good luck with the heavy tanks.

Howitzer tank takes practice to be able to use the main gun effectively because it has massive drop and a long reload but you can surprise armor of all classes by annihilating them in a couple of shots. The machine gun is awesome and very effective at all ranges. Flanker tank is basically the LAV equivalent from earlier games cause it's got an autocannon, also it can drop up to 6 land mines so you can make extra use of your mobility. Heavy tanks are between flamer or breakthrough, flamer has 2 flamers in rear left/right slots and no rear gunner, breakthrough has only 1 gun each side but it's an autocannon, and a double rear machine gun. I generally prefer the breakthrough because the splash damage for the side gunners is a godsend allowing them to actually be useful when you're doing anything other than standing stock still. The side flamethrowers on the flamer tank are overall better for tighter engagements i.e. Amiens. Generally just avoid the stock versions of both light and heavies, they don't really have anything that the other types can't specialise in better.

The thing about the landship is that pubbies mostly try to charge objectives with them, which just gets them destroyed since the gunners have zero peripheral vision. They're actually more effective sitting back and shelling from a distance. Of course in most cases you'd just be better off with an arty truck but it's pretty hilarious camping the opposing teams A/F point in Sinai with a tank hunter landship

i edit down the saved video clip in capture gallery, save to usb and upload the mp4 to ezgif.com to convert to a gif and upload to imgur it's a few extra steps but you get much better quality than share factory

I normally use https://gfycat.com. Trim down the clip you want, export to a flash drive, and then upload to the website. The file is smaller so they load faster but no embedding. Imgur also has a video to gif function. If you upload your clip to YouTube first, just paste the link and it will do the rest.
