Small samples all around, but I really can't believe in a goalie with terrible AHL numbers that basically had one good 20 game stretch in the NHL before becoming mediocre at best. Considering that the guy that booted him off the team was also a waiver pickup it's hard to think of him as being above replacement level.

There's a few teams that don't even have replacement level. Boston for example.

Not the GDT, but no one reads that so I'm posting here. Replacing Pastrnak with Backes on the Bergeron line is stupid, and I do not like it.

He's got a .936 in ~2400 minutes of ice time over the past 3 seasons, which isn't the biggest sample, but is still worth a team taking a flier on.

His career sv% in the NHL is .923, and he's started 55 games which would run out to about 3300 minutes notwithstanding OT or getting pulled. Are you talking ES minutes?

Pittsburgh goons, I will be visiting your fine city for either two or three nights in the coming weeks. I am going there with my fiancee, and we already have some things set up (Warhol museum, Mattress Factory, Phipps Conservatory, Cathedral of Learning are four of the places we are visiting). We already have our restaurants planned out (she's Celiac, so we've realllllllly got to plan ahead), but I am wondering if there's anything else we should see? If you give us something lovely, I will speak poorly of you on the internet.

Carnegie Art and History museums are really good and a few blocks from the cathedral if you aren't museumed out. Mt. Washington/Duquesne Incline will give you a nice view of the city at night if the weather isn't poo poo. It seems like you have most things planned out and have a solid list already.

CBJ 13-3-2 against the Wings since what I'm going to guess was the lockout (18 games). 10 years ago me would laugh in my face and tell me no loving way if I had the opportunity to send that stat back in time.
