I took the vendor Finnala's Peril out of the vault yesterday. (Outlaw, Rifled, Reactive Reload.) While it lacks Rangefinder, Outlaw + Reactive is filthy in 6s.

I'm on my third loving Xbone and I'd buy a fourth if it happened again. I feel way too invested in the "community" to jump. It's what literally all my real world friends play. But Holy God how did they go from near dashboard perfection (360) to where they are now? (God awful Windows ten EVERYTHING IS A TABLET WITH SQUARES interface)

Within an archetype, range and stability is pretty much all that's going to change. Aim assist is worth considering too, and recoil direction if you don't have counterbalance. You also have to consider the perks.. especially with year 3 stuff Bungie got really good at giving certain guns the capacity for unique perk combinations that make them stand above their peers. see: clever dragon

Are sidearms actually getting any kind of buff, or is it just that all other specials are losing their ammo? I'm a XIM4-using literal Hitler, and sidearms have been a favorite of mine because their rate of fire is limited mechanically by the controller trigger travel time. With a mouse click, you can fire faster than the game knows what to do with it. The recoil and the gunfire sounds stop syncing up with the actual rate of fire.
