BUT he was greatly liked and helpful towards the locker room. Sullivan was a political actor back in the day but now he's a 67 year old man who was just happy to get out of the house these days. But a paranoid Delirious and Koff felt he was too much of a threat so they axed him. Hmm, 67 year old man who is poo poo at his job and has no storyline being let go, there must be a conspiracy here Delirious does a lovely enough job without having to turn everything into some crazy story

As dysfunctional as the backstage environment is, ROH still has a lot of cool wrestlers and good matchups so I will watch them. Marty Scurll is very good and maybe my favourite wrestler at the moment. His match vs. Ospreay at the ROH London show cemented it for me.

I've gotten the rep of hating ROH but the in ring quality is still at a high standard and the TV has been largely strong every week this year so far. But ROH is lacking in compelling stories or fan faith that a new talent can/will reach the top of the card/win the belt. I can't fault how they handled Marty. Hope they can convince him to say on with the company past Wrestlemania weekend or so.

Yeah it's gotta be hard for a high level indy like ROH these days, having cool matches just isn't enough. I feel like there's almost too much good wrestling out there, I can't keep up

It's tough to put together storylines when seemingly half your roster isn't signed to contracts...and said roster members are more hesitant to sign because of the lack of pushes and storylines...really feels like ROH has dug themselves into a vicious feedback cycle here and I'm not really sure how they get out of it.

The Corporate Sinclair era had Kevin Steen kinda creating the idea that being eventually pissed off with ROH and washing your hands of them is a career milestone or graduation point. Scurll demanded competition which was answered by Jon Gresham, Sabin, Dijak, and a couple other guys who will have a 6 way to decide his next TV title challenger. I'm hoping it's Gresham because Gresham vs Scurll would be a really interesting matchup but I suspect it'll be Dijak putting him over on his way out. Still, the 6 way should be good. Also the Bucks vs the Tempura Boyz will happen. And Cole isn't taking Daniels seriously.

If I'm a guy who stopped watching ROH (and non WWE wrestling) regularly when Steen and Generico left, but I did watch Final Battle and am going to see ROH in a couple months, who is still around that I would know and who is good? I don't like Cole very much. Where'd that Michael Elgin guy go, I liked him

Went to the ROH show tonight and had a good time. Bucks and War Machine had a fantastic match. Rush-Scurll was really good and Rush won, earning a TV title match.
