2 Sheaffers from the 70s - 80s ($25 each) and a Seiko 7223 (for $10!) from around the same time. Everything has been cleaned and polished and the watch needs a new battery at the very least. If it doesn't run guess I'm getting into another hobby.

If anyone knows anything about Seiko serial numbers that would also be great.

v Thanks kindly, Feb 1980 probably

What is the distinct difference between a souvenir jacket and a baseball jacket apart from the history? The cut looks almost the same.

Probably just the Japanese imagery and history. Also, when I think baseball jacket as an Australian I'm thinking something akin to a jersey

I also got my roommate's old 52" plasma TV when he moved out, so I needed stuff for it.

Chromecast Ultra. Honestly a bit overkill but nice to have if I ever upgrade to a newer TV.

Cable TV is too much of a rip off. The first year in the 2 year agreement is fine, then they gently caress you on the second year.

Cut the cable. But my apartment complex dont have a DTV antenna.

Works surprisingly good. Amplified, and powered with a USB cable that plugs into the TV. 134 channels. Though only about 40 of them i'd watch.

I actually like these broadcast channels more than cable. Lots of non-fiction, documentaries, Huel Howser, Rick Steve's Europe. Knight Rider reruns.

The price premium for a Prius is not that much when compared to other mid-sized sedans. The battery replacement issue is way overblown.

The Prius is an extremely well-engineered driving appliance with pretty low maintenance costs. If you are shopping for a mid-sized sedan, drive a lot in heavy traffic, and aren't particularly a 'car guy', buying a Prius is pretty much a no-brainer.

Prius makes me mad because there were Honda Civics in the 90's getting that kind of gas mileage.

Technically, yes. Except those 90s cars were utter amenity-free shitheap deathtraps that make a Prius look like a Bentley.
