In case anyone hasn't kept up with Dragon Ball Fusions, it's getting an update today in the US that adds a bunch of Super characters (Goku Black, SSJR Goku Black, Zamasu, Merged Zamasu, Trunks, SSJ Trunks, Vegito Blue) and new fusions using those characters (Zamasu + Kid Goku, Future Trunks + Kid Trunks, Goku Black + Broly) as well as online play and a new online quest system with leaderboards and stuff. Lot of new content for free. The new fusions are also kind of great.   The game's also releasing in Europe later this week and yall get this patch day 1 instead of having to wait a few months like the US did. It's a great game! Everyone should buy it. And then you can enjoy Majin Hercule as much as I do.  He's the best

Someone refresh me on what Buu had to do to get to his other forms and the likelyhood that we see them in this tournament, or if he's just going to be played as a comedy character like Gohan. FWIW what I've seen of Super makes it look like nothing is very high stakes at all, even Freeza coming back and getting serious was a pretty minor threat.

Originally, Buu was Kid Buu. After he absorbed a pudgy Kai, he inherited his more innocent mannerisms and became Fat Buu. Fat Buu, after seeing Hercule get shot, then separated into his present self (Good Buu) and an anorexic form (Evil Buu). Every transformation that resulted from then on was the result of Evil Buu absorbing Good Buu and other people. But given that Evil Buu is dead/reincarnated as a separate person, it's unlikely he's going to change forms.

I kinda expect both Buu and Gohan to lose just so Goku can one-shot the entirety of team furry on his own and get them erased to properly establish him as the main villain to the rest of the multiverse.

Alternate would be alternate time lines. If GT is canon, it would be an alternate timeline. Like what Xenoverse deals with. The movies are alternate time lines. Frost is not Freeza, just a parallel Frost Demon like Freeza, though clearly without Freezer's great power.

Also in retrospect it is ridiculous how under powered Universe 6 is. Buu could have soloed the entire tournament except for maybe Hit. I'm not sure if Hit could actually HURT Buu or not given Buu is an immortal bubble gum candy monster.

Its a good thing everyone from all the universes can breathe oxygen and is functional in the same temperature and gravity range and has a similarly-sized symmetric body and so forth. Be a shame if universe 9 got disqualified because they were all plankton.

No that's right. 6 and 7 are a pair that adds up to 13. So they're mirrors of each other as far as planets and native species go, but the individual people are unique and have different histories. Any of the other universes are not going to have namekians, saiyans, etc. However somewhere in Universe 4 there should be a planet with the same kind of wolf people as Universe 9's.
