Need to be vetted first. Assuming your name is the same as here someone should do that in the next ten minutes or so. We are working on a way to automate it

Are there similar efforts in other states?

Is there a website or other resource out there with a master list of upcoming protests/town halls/other progressive political events?

Someone who is not an out of touch coastal elite can correct me - but events like town halls and protests are generally organized by local parties and groups - so the answer AFAIK is no. My suggestion would be to get plugged in locally and see what people in your area are doing. If you don't live near a bunch of other people you might have to travel a bit to get to a group.

it depends on where you live. My county puts up a big list of the positions up for election, and then during the filing period they put up a big list of all the people who have filed. So my suggestion is check your county elections web page to see if its there.

They'd have official government positions, but I think the question was about party leadership, which yeah you'll want to go to local party meetings. My county Democratic Party had an info session a few weeks back and went over how the process works. If you have an Our Revolution chapter nearby, they're also likely to have information.

My local city council elections were tonight and two of the three Good Candidates won (including the one I canvassed for) and the third race is going to a runoff so that's cool.

My bad. Definitely hook up with Our Revolution, the group in my area seems to be mostly made up of people who also worked on Bernie's campaign and the Women's March here. Well organized, already have volunteers for calling and texting campaigns. The other thing I'd recommend is checking to see if you have either a state or county progressive democrats group where you live, another group of what seems to be Bernie folks working for the same thing. The confusing thing is that the dem organization can vary somewhat from state to state.

Guy had been coming to meetings to videotape everything and try to get into confrontations so he could post them on Youtube (because he's part of the real resistance, you see). He made a lame attempt to claim that he was the one being suppressed even though everyone saw him tackle another attendee. I saw the guy walking away from the police cars outside after the meeting, so I don't know if he was charged with anything, but hopefully he won't show up again.

Had another DTC meeting. God the people in charge seem a bit disorganized, a but past-looking, and a bit slow -

Caucuses for state delegation next month - I'm totally gonna try to become a delegate.

Also I think I may need to take over my DTC if this keeps up. We'll see.

I just sent an email to my county party telling them I'd fill the vacant precinct chair of my precinct, which had 66.62% turnout in November. Midterms are going to be so important. if I don't get a response, I'm going to crash the Tuesday meeting of the County Executive Committee, which nominates people for empty chairs and tell them to nominate me.

A quick google search says yes to both. They're either predicting that they can just riiiiiiide this out and that all the angry proles will simmer down, or they are somehow the most tone-deaf shitheads in the Democratic caucus.

Well if a primary challenge is going to happen, you need to identify a candidate.

Yeah. I don't live there and don't know the landscape but I would bet that most Democratic electeds in the state would be too scared to cross him so it will probably be hard. I know there was a woman running for WV legislator as a socialist, but I can't find out if she ended up winning.
