hell i like triple h generally but his "let's have an epic" match calling is really bad also dont kid yourself by thinking shawn michaels was a good top guy (he wasn't)

i think a lot of the failure of HBK's top guy push was that he just wasn't pushed the right way, he should have constantly looked like a tough badass (like the HBK/Diesel IYH match, or the Mankind match) instead of doing whatever the hell his shtick was. If you want to say that 1995-1996 WWF was beyond his abilities to save I wouldn't argue the point too much. rewatch HBK/Diesel, btw. It has to be the best Kevin Nash match ever, and might be a top-20 WWE match ever (HBK/Mankind is definitely a top-20 WWE match ever, and may be top-5) Feels Villeneuve fucked around with this message at 20:35 on Feb 17, 2017 |
