I'M BACK FROM THE RIPPI LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE. So, here's my review. I heard Rippi was learning Korean, and wow, it showed. For most of the concert she was speaking in Korean with the help of an interpreter and the audience, most of whom were familiar enough with Japanese to understand what she was saying. It was super neat and also super cute. Everyone at the live got to high five Rippi and also get Valentine's chocolates. gently caress yeah. There was a bunch of stuff that went on. Started off with Rippi making an appearance and singing two songs, and then an interview / event session with a Korean VA. This guy. https://twitter.com/namdo8303/status/832938339590287360 He asked Rippi some questions regarding her concerts, what she did in Korea, etc. Then followed 3 contests, where Rippi would have to play a punishment game (among 4 available) if she lost. She actually ended up winning all 3. It was hilarious cause the guy expected that he'd lose the first 2 (grabbing the ends of a newspaper and pulling with the person who had the longer piece winning, balancing a broom on one hand) since he kept on losing during rehearsal) but the third one was supposed to be something she'd lose at (doing the kendama thing within 30 seconds) but she made it at 20 seconds. But she ended up doing 2 of the punishment games (air guitar to the tune from her Kiss Kiss song, playing out a scene from a Korean drama) anyways. I forgot what one of the punishments was, but the other one was having to drink this really bitter tea (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sophora_flavescens). Rippi also threw her newpaper piece into the crowd and a guy managed to get it. https://twitter.com/rpt_ins/status/832942108315090946 Then Rippi went to get changed for the next bit, so they played 2 music videos while the stage people set up band equipment. Then Rippi and the band (called CAM or something similar, Rippi joked by naming each of the band members after JAM Project members) performed using acoustic music, which she said she hadn't even done in Japan yet. She did 2 songs this way. It was super neat. Then the band played normally and she did, uh, three songs? I think? After that was the encore, so she came back and performed Kururin Miracle which transitioned into Snow Halation. And then she finished it off with another of her songs. Then people who won lottery prizes got their prizes, and then she did high fives with everyone. All in all, loving great. She might be coming back to Korea in the fall!!!!! I'll be there if she does!

Also I wasn't gonna buy any goodies because I didn't want to wait in line but they were still selling after the concert was over so I ended up spending KRW 40,000 on a XXL Rippi shirt.
