Its not exactly that, how you get heroes is random and gambly but the battles are FE standard for the most part.

It's like a mini fire emblem game for the most part. It seems like it won't hold a lot of people's interest, but if you like a quick mobile game it's pretty neat. You can get a lot out of the game for free. Also you don't need a Nintendo account to play.

I've never played a megaman game. I've never played a metroid game. Also the only sonic game I've ever played is Sonic Generations, which is pretty good. Also I've only played LttP and Twilight Princess. I have big gaps in my old school video games.

The best Megaman game is Megaman 2. Fire Emblem is really good. The best Zelda is Majora's Mask. Sonic Spinball and Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine are great and I love pretty much every 2D sonic game. Play Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion IMO, Asiina.
