yeah I eat rear end posted:Grand theft auto san andreas is the only GTA worth playing. The older ones are boring and the newer ones seem to prefer serious+realistic over being fun. I have like 12 hours played combined on 4 and 5 whereas I have over 700 on SA and I replay it all the time. Vice City and San Andreas were the golden age.

Illusion of Gaia is the greatest video game ever made. Literally zero games made by Nintendo were better when they went to 3d. This includes Mario, Zelda, Metroid and so on. Mario 3d World was great, and Metroid Prime was good, but the 2d ones were vastly superior. There has been no good 3d Zelda game. Super Mario Bros. 2 USA is the best Mario game. Mortal Kombat games were better with the extremely stiff controls. The series should have ended after Ultimate MK3. Killer Instinct (1994 arcade, not the poo poo snes port) is the greatest fighting game of all time. Super Mario 3d World is almost completely impossible to control. Almost every single one of my deaths in that game were because I thought I was jumping on a normal platform, only to find out I was "behind" or "in front" of it and fell to my death. There's never been a good zombie-centric game. Not even Zombies Ate My Neighbors, I hated that as a kid. The closest one for me was Dead Island and even that was a painful slog most of the time.

Perfect Dark was really ahead of its time. not only did it have a lot of unique guns, but each gun has a secondary fire. so you have the poision gun that shoot tranqualizer dart at ranger, or a deadly dose if injected up close, or the machiene gun that can turn you invisable, or the rocket launcher with guided rockets, etc. it also had really good bots in multiplayer, that could be programmed in differant ways for differant strategeies (and up to 16 bots, impressive on N64) Perfect Dark also had a mode where two people could play the single player campaign. one player would take control of the protagonist, and the other would randomly control various enemies in the stage. turning each single player mission into a two player duel! I wish developers would put as much effort into their games these days as went into Perfect Dark

left 4 dead was good when it was new, but a rushed out sequel that was barely a badly balanced expansion and the fact that a semi-dynamic AI and asymettrical pvp doesn't make the game fun the millionth time. I know nearly every map so well that even though i havent played it in years i could probably jump in like i never left. I wouldn't play it again, but it was a pretty unique and cool game at the time, and I still have a shirt and swag from playing it at quakecon back in 2007. most of the genre is really bad. I regret buying day z and project zomboid

They would explode into gore and their eyeballs would fly everywhere if you shot them with a slingshot. The object of the game was to save puppies from Dracula. It was the bloodiest children's game I can recall and that is why games today are 99% poo poo.

Farming Simulator is a good fun game series even though I always end up getting my expensive equipment stuck in a bugged fence or accidentally driving it into lakes. I may suck at farming but it is still fun overall.

Dark Souls games are not "super hard". They are simply a tedious exercise in tolerating repetition and learning patterns for people who haven't been around to play games in the early 90ies, when games where not the hold-my-hand-and-deliver-instant-gratification style they are today.

It's cool that they remade the new DMC into an apparently good game, but it's hilarious that the developers went in on saying "The old poo poo Dante is bad and if you disagree we don't need you, we're going mainstream" and then whined that old fans didn't buy it and sales were bad.
