Get to the loving point already! Luke Cage had some of the worst series structure I've ever seen. Three or four episodes in and there's still no plot. THEN you get a flashback origins episode (?) and then they basically END the storyline halfway through by killing the best actor in the show. THEN you have another four or five episodes?!?!?! \/\/\/ I think DD is the best of them but I still think they're far too long. Cut out all that hand/stick ninja poo poo. Luke Cage was 95% a fairly bog standard gangster show that was greeted as a revelation because it has a predominantly black cast. The 5% of him wrecking poo poo was awesome but god drat they made you wait a lot. At least Jessica Jones had a slightly more interesting plot/villain. If you are gonna cry "but the budget!" As a reason to not put in some awesome superhero action in every show then don't make a superhero show ffs.

Both season 1 and 2 of DD started out really strong, particularly s2 with the Punisher stuff, but then managed to poo poo itself in the second half with inept ninjas and their secret clan of hanging plot threads.
