The CIA getting mad that foreign intelligence services may have helped install a right wing leader sympathetic to them will never not be funny until the bombs start falling.

Only vaguely related but I'm reading Legacy of Ashes, a history of the CIA. It's really funny how loving useless they are. I can't believe someone hasn't made a dark historical farce set during the Korean War focusing on the CIA's airdropping thousands of trained South Koreans behind enemy lines only for them all to get caught and shot as soon as they land because the DPRK had infiltrated the CIA's recruitment program. It's a really good book and I'm not even up to the Kennedy assassination yet.

And that was just the first example that really stood out of the CIA's incompetence. There's been loads so far. So bad it's kind of inspirational in a way.

They always come across like kids playing a game, except they have the resources of the world's largest superpower to make their stupid ideas actually happen. People die and lives are ruined and societies fall into chaos because some clown has really great ideas about how to totally pwn the enemy. They're a good example of failing upward

Not close at all, in fact the reverse, I'm suggesting that if you genuinely think that your point of view is Correct and that you are able to persuade others with your silver tongued eloquence get out there and loving do something*. Of course we know that the truth is that you'd rather sit safe at home wingeing to absolutely no effect since you are far less sincere than you pretend and mostly just like winding people up.

Corbyn may have done gently caress All but it's still more than you have done - or maybe you know where he posts his whining pedantry.

*The least you could do is go on a fact finding mission to Brambles and Thorntree and find out why your neighbours chose what you think is such a bad idea, maybe help explain why we are in this mess. Bet none of them say "Because Corbyn.."

Labour are drawing up plans to work with Theresa May during over Brexit, according to reports.
Jeremy Corbyn’s most senior aide has urged the leadership to take a “constructive approach” that will risk the party “getting our hands dirty” by not voting against the Government, a leaked memo has revealed.
The email was sent to Seamus Milne, the leadership's head of strategy and communications, by the former Labour Chief Whip Rosie Winterton.
The memo, which admits that Labour is not currently “facing up to what the detailed agreements should like like” after Brexit, followed a meeting of Mr Corbyn's top team on Monday night.
It warns that Labour "will have to acknowledge that immigration has caused friction in some areas.must not be “simply seen to be opposing everything the government does”.
The email obtained by the Sun states that Labour must instead “emphasise our constructive approach” that would “show leadership”.
