You know it's a Branco when John McCain is the most accurately portrayed and least stereotypical and, above all, most normal-looking human being.

I don't think that's Rall- I'm not sure it's how he usually depicts himself.

Given Sim's descent, it's probably the latter.

I couldn't quite find a lot of Kruschev / Brezhnev realist paintings. Might be because when you drop your personality cult you get fewer paintings, might be because history is less interested in preserving those guys? 1 2 3 4 Young(ish) Niki / Lenya as soldiers. Not quite Young Stalin caliber. 5 6 7 8 Leonid's obsession with decorating himself with literal kilos of self-awarded medals required very little to caricature properly. Bordered on self-caricature as it stands. 9 10 (Based on a photograph)

I can never be completely sure what kinds of things drive Trump into a rage and what don't (either way they have to break through his reality shell first) but I would think that being portrayed as impotent would be one of them.

All these "Trump is so ugly/impotent/has small hands" etc. cartoons are just annoying to me. Every loving day there's some actual policy to criticize, attack or be outraged about, and you choose these juvenile angles of attack just because the thought of Trump-senpai noticing you makes you hard? Like yeah, he's pretty disgusting to look at, but that's not the main problem here, and repeatedly pointing it out in lieu of including actual politics in so-called political cartoons doesn't help anything. To be clear, I don't have a problem with grotesquely ugly caricatures as long as there is some point being made beyond that.

I feel they work because they're attacks on things that nobody cares about for anybody else because of the massive flaw of his all-consuming insecurity, which makes them attacks on that insecurity by proxy.
