That one ep where they just do a bunch of off the cuff improvising and edited the good stuff I would be 100% cool with if that's how they presented things going forward. poo poo's hilarious.

Yeah it was good. The dialogue scenes are poo poo, Keanu is really bad but god drat the action is amazing. That hall of mirrors scene was incredible.

I phrased that wrong. Don't get me wrong, I love keanu, he's great at what he does and the Matrix is in my top 5 films ever but his delivery is realllly bad. I think he's at his best when he's doing physical acting which is why the opening fifteen minutes of JW2 are so good, there's barely any dialogue. I don't think he can give some of his dialogue the proper emotional weight. Great film and the best parts are when Keanu does cool action poo poo. The film he directed, Man of Tai Chi, is excellent.

I actually like the skits a lot more than their reviews and wish they would do more of them, but not lovely ones like aliens sending them back in time. I feel like plinkett doesn't really work any more though because Rich won't shave his mangy beard.

I saw john wick 2 today. It was great. Really awesome action scenes. BUT. . . I went into it without having seen John Wick 1, and I had NO CLUE what was going on. So be warned.

I sort of say this about Michael Dudikoff, but mostly based on him from an 80s movie called Radioactive Dreams where he's playing a more comedic character. If he'd done some more comedy roles and mixed that with his American Ninja fame, I could have seen him being sort of a late 80s action-comedy leading man figure.

There are a lot of call back jokes/scenes and if you watch the first one they are just amazing. Go watch the first one. 2 does what few movies achieve by being at least as good as the original. They are similar but different movies that isn't just a retread. The gun porn was pretty funny. I was slightly disappointed that he didn't get a light machine gun but that wouldn't be his style. The shotgun was like super inefficient even when compared to the pistols.

Both Keanu and Tom Cruise know their strengths and work hard as hell to get some pretty great results. They're not artists but they're definitely highly skilled craftsmen. I need to go see John Wick 2 real bad, stupid family obligations!!
