Kemono Friends seems like something that could play on the Disney Channel during the time slot for very young kids, and also it's pretty alright.

It's strangely good, I watched all the episodes over the last two days. I remember really liking the bit I watched of it way back when, and my recent viewings of Hidamari Sketch and Katanagatari have really renewed my appreciation for Shaft's visual style. On another note, I'm continuing on with my casual Mushishi rewatch. I'd forgotten how brutally sad the episode about Ginko's backstory is.

The teleporters felt fairly placed to me. Falling off never set me back too far. The only mildly frustrating thing for me was when I finally found the black sheep thing and it ran into a Venus flytrap and died.
