At this point, you need to take honest stock of what the Democratic party is actually for. It isn't for winning elections or putting forth pro labor policy. It isn't for world peace. It's for social equality -- which is awesome and a wonderful thing -- in absence of economic equality. The thing that Democrats do best is grift millions upon millions of dollars from rich people who expect them to do anything at all instead of vacillate weakly and let Republicans walk all over them.
