I just got censured on the Frontier forums for "being off topic" for using the idiom "pissing on your back and telling you it's raining" in relation to Chris Roberts lying to backers. I wouldn't normally say anything, I'm not one for stirring up inter forum drama, but it's quite frustrating and I feel like I have to get "Yaffle is a loving idiot" off my chest somewhere... and it sure as gently caress isn't going to be over there in loving Stasi land.

They have to try and walk a fine line between the weirdo stalker cult of backers that fetishize Derek Smart and start calling the offices whenever Derek posts on their forums, and letting outright making GBS threads on a competitor take place and appear "Sanctioned" Although that comment shouldn't be moderated because it's an accurate idiom to describe what is happening and is in no way off-topic, since "Star Citizen" itself is that exact thing.

I didn't get censured for swearing, I got censured for being off topic. He removed the post where I repeated the idiom without swearing too (unless "wee" is swearing now). He just doesn't like idioms I guess, maybe they murdered his dog or something. edit: enough anyway.
