I love people who's priorities are such that they cannot spare 90 seconds to watch a scene they don't like in a show they presumably do like, but they can take time out to inform the internet of their decision.

Just caught this episode and god drat I haven't been that emotionally impacted by a beautiful scene in TV in a while. It's basically the music, which when composed and coordinated well with good cinematography makes me feel like a big crybaby. It's too bad without Miller around this show's gonna become a lot less interesting but considering what they've pulled off in the last couple, I'm definitely on board for whatever it's got.

Did the Martians even have scenes in either of the last two episodes? I know they didn’t in E05.

Bobbie so far as done very little of note compared to Naomi, Avasarala and now Drummer whose actions and decisions are changing the whole Solar system. I'm sure she will step up in the future once the circumstances put her on the spot.

I think like the Roci crew, they wanted to give Bobbie more of an emotional change story arc and setting her up as this ra ra super patriot hardass marine starts her with more range.

Whoever said the marines from the Donnager were a cooler version of marines was right, I remember in the book they start off with like 7 marines when get picked up and one by one the guys at the back start disappearing and Holden is like "Wait, what about John?" and is told "John isn't coming with us." They were portrayed as grim robots who didn't think twice about giving their lives to the mission in order to buy a couple more minutes for the team. Way cooler than Trust Fund Tammy and doofy Earth guy

I actually liked the Martian marines once they stopped dunking on Earth Guy and showed some empathy so my only real complaint is that their power armour reminds me a bit too much of the nonsensical armour permutations from the later Halo sequels that nobody likes
